rail journey via London

i have been playing around with rail fares and i have discovered it would be considerably cheaper to make my journey via london. I would arrive at St pancras and need to get my connection at Paddington- Do i need to buy tube tickets seperately or is that factored into the cost of my journey? Sheffield to Slough?

If you have one through ticket, Sheffield to Slough, then the underground journey is included in the price. It will work the undergound barriers.
If you have separate tickets, Sheffield to St Pancras, Paddington to Slough, then the transfer is your responsibility0 -
As long as you buy a Sheffield to Slough ticket (and not separate Sheffield to London and London to Slough tickets) the tube fares should be included.Stompa0
