I feel your pain, though probably for different reasons - I used to work for a company that were atrocious with their paydays... the official date was mid-month but the actual payday was sometimes as much as 2 weeks late! Everyone used to get so angry because it screwed up everyone's bills, DDs etc.0

Don't be silly, far easier to come on here and ask people who won't know.0 -
But surely now they no there is a problem shouldnt they at least inform us of the actual reason why? All had is oh must be monday, which obv isnt the last working day of the month.
Looks like they've already asked, but not been told the reason why.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

They should know if the pay is going to be late and they should have informed you all of the reasons why.
They can't just tell you they hope it to come through on Monday ~ actually, the person who told you that, have they been paid today?
Do you know who processes your wages or where, they might have an idea?Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

'Oh' may have asked, but I asked what work said when the OP picked up a phone, and asked the question that they are asking on here....namely why haven't they been paid.
Which obviously might put them in danger of finding out an actual answer.0 -

They rang and asked. I'm assuming they said 'we haven't been paid today when we should have been' and they were told 'oh, must be monday (you're getting paid on)'. Which is what the OP has already said?
OK, the OP could have said that wasn't good enough and asked why the pay wasn't in their accounts, but it depends on who/what department they rang/asked.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -

The bloke who runs the payroll only works once a week and he is not here to ask and prob wud get told off for asking him directly.0
