Linda, is there any chance it may drift to fill the gap a little as I know teeth can do that. Just brushed VERY carefully (I have a soft head brush anyway) and some of the old blood from my mouth came out, so that's good. I'm not putting my tongue in it, just running down one side and on the surrounding teeth, as I know they can get sore too mainly from the old one....It's nice not having a permanent ache. And what's dry socket?

Payday today, just had some pizza:o

Good choice on the boots Spud, I have never worn wedges so cant comment on how comfortable they are, saying that I see lots of people at work wearing them so they cant be too uncomfortable (heels are a definite no no in our job)

Need a bit of a kip to re-charge my batteries but will be around later if anyone fancies joining me in a glass of something alchoholic
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

A dry socket is when the clot and natural healing is disturbed resulting in the socket becoming infected, smokers are at higher risk of this.

The wisdom tooth may drift naturally to fill the space but it could remain at an angle and not end up perfectly in line.
