HOw to you creat a link that only shows the name and not the web address

Some people on MSE forum are able to create a link that you click on without showing the web address. Instead they give it a name and you click on the name which is setup as a web link. I hope I have explained myself OK.

Eg HOw can I make this link
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Save-Cash-Planet-Andrea-Smith/dp/000719420X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1264719053&sr=8-1

Look like this..

I think I have to put HTML code but don't know what this should be.

    Hilight the Save The planet then click on the add url button above the edit box and type in the URL or paste it

    Rather than type it in i will be lazy :D from your browser click view/view page source and search for amazon (the second one) and you will see the Text bit ....Save the pklanet and after the bit href=.........

    You can still see link in bottom of browser I catch a fair few sneaky spammers (affiliate links) that way but it does keep long links tidy on forums

    Just another idea for you when you have typed in you link on the forum select preview post and you can test it out before posting a typo ;)

    Highlight that then use the little world button above the gray box
