lol im lost to what your trying to do. Are you trying to install phplist.
if so follow: http://docs.phplist.com/PhplistInstallation0 -
I was installing it, I got as far as the config file with the database settings. I'm not going any further, but it's basically overwritten my site which is in the same file directory.
Any ideas how I can undo it? :beer:0 -
So you entered the settings of the database + connections . But you said its overwritten your site. In what way ...0

From my reading of this, you had a html site, and then uploaded a php site. You no longer want to use the php site, and want to revert to the html site you used previously.
Simply upload the backup html version of your site. You DID back it up before uploading the php files, didn't you?
If you didn't, then you need to ascertain if the php installation included a delete command for the root folder. If it did, then the old html is gone. You will have to recode the site.
If it didn't, then you can uninstall / delete the php files, and revert to the html files. Have a look for files called index.old or indexold.*** or similar. You should be able to rename the correct file to index.html and Bob is your auntie's brother.0 -
It is hosted by a private company
About to bring it in house.
You want to self host? When you cant figure out what page does what on a website?
Dont do it....[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -
It'll be a index.something file. Probably index.php by the sounds of it. Your original would have been index.html or index.htm0
