uninstall mcafee antivirus?

Hi

I've just bought a new laptop and it came with a two month trial of Mcafee. However, i got Norton 360 for halfprice with the laptop.

When i turned on the computer for the first time it asked if i wanted the two month trial and i clicked yes but then i couldn't get on the internet to complete registration as i'm waiting for a modem.

I prefer Norton and just want to use that and forget about Mcafee so will i have to uninstall Mcafee?

According to the McAfee forums, the directions above should work for Windows 7 too. They just haven't updated the page.
