Definitely not! Metro bus 96 is probably your best (well, cheapest) option:

And then you're not a million miles away from Great Victoria Street station, so get the train there instead of Central.
Thanks for the replies.I need to get to belfast central though, not to catch a train but to meet someone there0 -
With kids - recommend the Ulster Museum ITS FREE! - come and see our resident Mummy as well as lots of hands on stuff for the kids and up round Queens university so nice area to wander, nice coffee shops etc.
Also, go to Victoria Square in the city centre and take the kids up in the lift to the viewing point over the city - as long as you dont have vertigo - again its FREE if you can avoid the temptation of the designer shops there!! Nice places to eat there too, and lots of relevant vouchers on MSE for Gourmet Burger, Pizza Express etc.Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T0 -
For a hotel close to the Odyssey you cant get much closer than the new Premier Inn that is being built at the minute. I dont know of an exact opening date but I do know it must be imminent as all signs etc are up and lights on etc... It is on the doorstep of the Odyssey and as it is a Premier Inn I imagine well priced, but I would also think it'll book up pretty quickly on concert nights.
If you want to stay in the vicinity I recommend the kids club at the cinema on Saturday mornings or W5, a good family day out and plenty to do. I could easily spend a few hours walking round it.
Hope this helps and enjoy the concert!!!:j Norn Iron Club Member No. 343 :j0 -
