Could be but i think its just me becasue i have tried this link since this morning and its just takes ages to come on and then it says it can't be displayed.

It won't let me register either, but I can't be too annoyed I've had VIP slots the past 2 sales. Plus If I remember correctly last year I actually ordered all my stuff before I even got to my VIP slot I didn't need it in the end as you could just type in the sale codes into the normal quickshop;) I have found too that more stuff gets added daily so you don't always get the best stuff from the VIP slots.

I'm gonna phone Next in the morning and request a VIP slot. I'm sure I keep them in business with just my Directory alone!!! Ha ha. So I spend lots of money, it's the least they can do eh?

Will give it a go and see how it goes.

I'm having the same trouble with the VIP link - even changed from the Laptop to the PC cuz I thot it was on a go slow. Same thing happened on PC though.

Looks like Next are going to do things bit different with this sale. I had a call from them yesterday asking if I would like to be called on Thursday or Friday with details of the priority access to the sale.
Calling me at 8am Thursday, I think I have got one of the earliest slots.
I will let you know the outcome.

I was feeling a bit cheeky this morning, so just phoned the on-line helpdesk:
0845 6100510 and asked if I could have a VIP slot as I had not been allocated one.

The man asked for my customer account number and then confirmed that although I had not been allocated one - he would set one up for me. An email confirmation arrived within a few minutes.

I now have a slot booked to go on-line on Thurs 1-1.30!

So, go on - be cheeky and just phone and ask.

P.S. I have only ever ordered one item from the catalogue, about 9 months ago, so was expecting to be turned down. I am hardly a VIP customer after all!
