Recommendation for Short-Term House Insurance

Hi

The wife and I are off to Oz to migrate in May. Are there any companies that do short term house insurance deals? We really only need it for our remaining 3-4 months.

Cheers for any advice.

Although not a "recommendation" (I don't know if they are good/bad), Lloyds TSB allow you to take out an annual policy for house insurance and make no charge if you need to cancel during the year (14 days notice required).

If you pay for the year in advance they refund you the premium, charging only for the period you have been on cover.
  • Great idea. Cheers!
