wdywuk wrote:Also be aware that Dixons price match to other internet retailers at the moment.I have found that if you price match, it will not let you apply another discount. The way around this is to ask for the price match - they will update the website for a "website only" price. Don't use the price match code (it will only give you another 5p off because they have lowered the price). Now use the Egg/other discount codes. Much better than the % off on its own.
My experience was slightly different with price-matching. They emailed me a one-off code, but didn't update the online price. Whilst I couldn't use the price-match code with the 10% off appliances codes (wishful thinking), I could use it with the 5% NHS and free delivery codes (as well as Egg/Quidco codes).
Only worth it if the cheapest online retailer is more than 10% cheaper than Dixon's price. Also FYI they seem to be happy to price match retailers other than the ones on their price promise list. For example in my case they matched Co-Op Electrical!

Or better still use the £20 off £200 code, for double the NHS discount.
Needs to be at least £220 before any discount are applied as the Dixon's discount reduces it by 10% and it needs to be £200 when the £20 off £200 discount is applied.
Anyhow this gives an additional 10% ish discount..0 -

Does the free delivery only show when you checkout? I entered the 10%, and the NHS code and they both show, but tiscali199 isn't showing?0

After you input the delivery code, and update it. The standard delivery charge of £19.99 will be disappeared on your bill and replaced by a "0".0
