Thank you very much - I did not know about the Free Delivery bit. I managed to get a £299.99 dishwasher down to £256.50 with the discounts and then I'll get £25.65 cashback on my Egg card - so final cost is £230.85

saved about 85.00 altogether on a zanussi washing machine/delivery/install/disposal - was 305.00 plus 16.99 delivery plus 22.98 install/disposal - so 345 almost all in - will now be just over 260 all in

Also be aware that Dixons price match to other internet retailers at the moment.I have found that if you price match, it will not let you apply another discount.The way around this is to ask for the price match - they will update the website for a "website only" price. Don't use the price match code (it will only give you another 5p off because they have lowered the price). Now use the Egg/other discount codes. Much better than the % off on its own.

Can you explain this in a bit more detail ?

Re: Price Match.
Basically you send them an email stating where you saw it cheaper, and then if they can verify it (including delivery) then they will give you a code valid for 24hours and 1 use only to use to lower the price.

What I have noticed is when I have used this service, they also lower the price on the website for 24 hours - so no need to use the code !

(The code cannot be used with another discount I have noted).

From the website:

- The product is same product and offer including delivery charges
- Is in stock and available for immediate delivery
- We are able to verify the offer

Please email our team at [EMAIL="salepromise@dixons.co.uk"]salepromise@dixons.co.uk[/EMAIL] clearly stating the following details.

1. Your name and delivery postcode
2. The product, price and our product code you are interested in purchasing - please enter this in the subject box
3. The URL of the Internet site offering a better price

Once the price is verified we will email you a discount code to use when placing your order. We aim to reply to your email within 24 hours (Mon-Fri). The discount code is limited to one product per customer and must be used within 1 working day of the date of our email.
