Hi everyone just got back in. Poor husband didnt get home till 5am so I had to take the children out. There is no hope of keeping them silent. Took them for a walk a round the car boot and now we're frozen. Got a couple of practical bargains though so I'm happy. Can't wait till it warms up and I can wander round them every week!

Those shoes are gorgeous!!!!
Would have been wasted on my lot. Evertime I took them out in the buggy, they came back with the left foot missing!!! Yes, all three of my DDs did that and always the flaming left shoe! :mad::mad:

That's another reason why I buy second hand. Doesnt hurt so much if it's lost/damaged.

Mrsd I used to have some beautiful bundles of Girls clothes from ebay....I've had 60 items for about £35 and its a full wardrobe......Sophie is 6 now and her Trousers look like JackUps at the moment...will wait a little longer and use them for shorts me thinks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

A few years ago on ebay a lady was selling over 700 items of girls clothes..her daughter had a disability where her stomach would swell up so her clothes never fit her longer than a few weeks poor thing...I bid on them and got them for about £120..which is alot of money but not for what we got..It came in a box that we couldnt carry and the box stood about 4 ft high...The clothes were the most beautiful items you could ever imagine and it did the 2 middle girls for about 2 years..there was every season in there and all designer names...I never caught for anything like it again but i could never have bought them new....the girls were ecstatic:j:j

I get a buzz from hunting down bargains. In the summer I got to one on a weds, one on a sat and 2-3 on a Sunday! I buy all our clothes/toys and any housey stuff. I got DD 3 carrier bags on monsoon clothes for about £15. Like you, I could never afford half of it new and now I wouldnt pay it!

Yeh I agree...I would never buy Designer...My kids know I use Asda and Matalan....At christmas Having 5 kids is quite expensive...Louanne had big ideas as said they could all pick their own clothes...She said I'm going to River island or Top shop....Hellllllllo no your not your going to matalan..I knew she would end up with hardly anything with how expensive her shopping would be .Matalan do lovely clothes and when you start earning and buy your own then you can shop at your lovely designer shops....:D
