Motor Show - London - Find Good Reasonable Accommodation

I would like to take my twin sons aged 11 to the motor show and stay overnight in London. I have spent hours searching for decent accomodation at a good price.

The best price I have managed to find is £120 for 2 nights (no breakfast) staying in 3* in a triple room.

Does anyone know whether it is worth searching further or is this the best I am likely to get. Cant afford any more since I also have the train fares to London from Leeds.

Any help would be appreciated.

Doesnt have to be near the Motor Show since I guess it would be easy enough to get around on the tube.

Thanks in anticipation

I would check https://www.travelodge.co.uk; https://www.premiertravelinn.com as that is the cheaper websites.

However £60 per night for 3 people sharing a triple room is very good, so i would be tempted to stay with what you have found, i doubt you would get cheaper.

For basic accommodation there is a youth hostels:

    http://www.st-christophers.co.uk/ This is in Greenwich.

    Enjoy the motorshow!

My hubby and son also are going to the Motor Show at the end of July. Have you booked your train tickets yet? If not try to get the Virgin Value Single Fares. For one adult and one child Liverpool - London return cost us £23.50 total with a family railcard, which we already had but if not costs £20.

The single fares are limited on each journey but you may be lucky and get them when you want - even with the railcard it is a really cheap way to travel, rather than the saver returns. I can't remember the name of their hotel but it is opposite the Expo where the show is and costs £50.00 b&b for a twin room. Have a great time!

Best thing you can do is check laterooms.com we were in London last week for wimbledon and left booking the hotel until the day we needed it via late rooms.
We got a three star in kensington twin room for £35 plus breakfast. There will always be something on the site and remember the prices are for ROOMS not per person!
