Quorn fillet sauces?

I've just bought a packet of these for veggie DD (mainly because they looked vaguely like chicken breasts on the packet and I was doing a chicken-y dinner for the rest of us). Allegedly they need to be covered in sauce before they are a) baked in the oven for what seems like an inordinate amount of time or b) blitzed in the microwave for what seems an equally inordinate amount of time. Hope they're tasty after all that...
Anyway, it says cover in the sauce "of your choice".
Anyone ever eaten these? Any suggestions for choices? I'm thinking chicken gravy probably kind of defeats the object...:rotfl:

I usually cook them in a tomatoey pasta type sauce or a mushroom cream sauce or curry etc. I'm not very keen on them ut the rest of the gang are. Poach them in some water/stock, and make up a gravy or use veggie gravy granules, if everyone else is having a roast chicken type dinner. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Hi
Im not sure about this but if i remember correctly from a veggie friend beef bisto gravy granuals are fine for veggies but the chicken flavour ones are not. Not sure how that works but apparently its true!0 -
Just have them plain with baked beans & mash - as long as there's something 'wet' on the plate they taste fine! Otherwise a bit dry like the sausages!0

There's a recipe on the Flylady website for spicy orange pork chops. When I make it for my family, I use vegetable stock and also use the sauce on Quorn fillets for me and it's absolutely delicious!0

Ooh that's interesting, I often see recipes with it in, and try different stuff for the flavour. Never thought to look for a veggie version, which is embarressing really as I haven't eaten meat for 27/28 years!
