My daughter cant log in to your her laptop

Hi please can someone help my daughter has a toshiba laptop she has just tryed to log in with her password and it keeps saying The user profile service failed to logon, then underneath it says user prfile cannot be loaded any ideas please ? Thankyou

    Just type restore into the Start menu search box, and you’ll immediately see System Restore at the top of the start menu:

    if you can log in using safe mode you can check the event logs and it should show whythe profile is not being loaded but you will need a little knowledge to read through them

    it also helps if you say what version of the operating system you are using - XP, Vista, Windows 98, Mac OS etc

    Strangely, the exact same thing has happened to my daughter's Toshiba laptop (with Vista) in the past few days & I came on here to try and find a solution. I'm not very savvy about these things but will sit down later and try to resolve it!
