Just go back to the business payment support service (the number you called to arrange the oringinal payment plan) and they should cancel the yellow notice for you.

Just the usual thing, computer issues these things automatically and so whilst HMRC try to sto them, the odd ones get through the net.

So give that a try and hopefully the problem will go away.

Finally got through this morning, I was out on site all day yesterday so could only try at lunchtime which was obviously a waste of time due to high call levels.
I was told there had been an update in the system and these letters had been sent automatically, therefore I shouldn't worry about them as long as the payment plan is in place.

What a relief that is, red letters are bad enough but even worse when coming from the VAT office.

Don't know what your reason for calling them is but have you tried all of the three numbers in post #11

I never tried the e-mail option, wasn't aware it was an option.
To be honest I was a bit worried and wouldn't have settled until I'd spoken to an actual person who could tell me all was ok.
I seem to remember getting through in the morning so perhaps you stand more chance if you try early on in the day (incase you havn't already), just a thought.
Hopefully someone will pick up your e-mail!
