Single parent holidays

Options
I noticed a few posts about "Single Parent Holidays" or the lack of them!

It doesn't matter whether single, couple ,family of 3,4 5 or 10. Its the ACCOMODATION you are paying for.

A "FREE" child place means under occupancy supplements that almost bring the cost up to the adult price anyway.

Every single parent can have a cheap holiday if they really want one and are prepared to do the research.

  • Try https://www.opfh.org.uk for single parent holidays. I went with them last year to Biarritz and had a really great time!  I think it worked out £750 in total for 2 weeks which is pretty good, plus the other Mums were great!
  • If you are a single parent, why are cheap flights in early July going to help? The children don't break up from school untill mid/late July.

I'm a single parent and I've found that the Scottish schools go back mid August. You can get off-peak holidays in the last couple of weeks in August up there and the prices are so much cheaper. You're looking £200-300 a week to hire a static caravan.
