Waiting for.....

Options
Having difficulty getting IE. Message at the bottom says 'waiting for .....' but nothing happens. I have managed to get on-line using aol but when I tried several times this morning to do some on-line banking with Barclays message at the bottom says 'waiting for.....' again nothing happens. Had a new Netgear router installed last week and it has been fine until today. Any suggestions anyone please.
