cd disc drive

Options
are these as easy to change as it looks,,unplugging plugs,removing,replacing and connecting plugs back up? my cd disc aint working was gonna mayb change it if that easy,,but if not ill just keep using my other dvd drive

    Dead easy, just copy how the existing is set up. Make sure you buy like for like (i.e ide or scsi), just make sure you earth yourself to avoid static.

    On a desktop, dead easy; on a laptop, can be a little bit more cumbersome ;).

    If you've got a working DVD drive I wouldn't bother replacing it unless you are copying discs on a very regular basis.

    If you do decide to change it, it's really easy.
