Hi all, me again!!:D
Some of you might recall my posts about hubbys car being written off due to soeone hitting him on an icy road..
Anyway, my new query is this....
Only the insurance assesor has told hubby that he has written the car off, we've heard nothing from insurance co yet.
Hubby has a courtesy car, and he says as soon as the insurance co write to him and confirm that car is a write off, they will take courtesy car away. Is this the case?
We are panicking slightly as he will need a car to get to work, and we are trying to find a way of buying one,as its doubtfull that once the insurance pays out, and then the GAP pays off the finance, that he will actually get any money.
Does anyone know how soon we will lose the courtesy car?
Many thanks, in advance, of help and advice (again!!)

Yes, as soon as the car is formally written off the courtesy car will be taken.
The insurance board is lower down, by the wayI was born too late, into a world that doesn't care
Oh I wish I was a punk rocker with flowers in my hair0 -
You then use the insurance money to buy the next car
(or if it's a loan then start another, having paid off the last one with your insurance cheque and GAP cover)0
