Do you have the service book? Should be with your user manual and what not. The details of when it needs to be done should be in there.0

ah OK - didn't realise that - the 307 is my car so I'll have a look in the service book - the clio we don't pick up until Monday just wanted to know when it would need doing so I'll have a look in the book when we've got it.0

I think the interval for the Clio 1.4 is 70,000 miles. A friend has one but it's an older model.0

Quite an obvious tip would be to find out if a timing belt needs done BEFORE you purchase a car; if so use it as a bargaining point, or ask for it to be done by the garage.
I wouldn't buy a car without asking if im needing to be fitting a belt in the next 6 months or not.0
