1) See how it goes tomorrow - but were it me - I would not rule out phoning the Clerk to the Court and see what they say after you tell them what is going on, and it also gives you (in advance) a point of contact to double check that the Insurers do what they say they will do, and it gets resolved.
2) If it gets any worse, I wouldn't also rule out appointing a solicitor to help you - and advise the Insurers, the costs will be charged to them.
Bit OTT - maybe 2) is - but not 1) from everything that has happened (or not) so far.If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,
they can change the face of the world.

Litigation supervisor in meetings until 2pm. They will call me back (waiting with baited breath....)
Will update if I hear back from them today0 -
Update as promissed.
Credit where its due the lady who rang me back was very apologetic and fully understood the consequences of the CCJ on my OH's file.
Took ownership of the file and said she has sent payment to the Tp sol for the full amount and also paid the fee to have the CCJ Removed, not just satisfied.
Has sent me a letter confirming everything and also will be checking the file every couple of days for developments and coming back to me each Friday until sorted.
Made all the right noises so cant say fairer than that really.
Fingers crossed all sorted now but again will update as and when I hear more.
Thanks for every ones input0 -
Sounds good - hope that gets it resolved! If many little people, in many little places, do many little things,

ERS have been in regular contact with me and even when I rang my case handler ithout my ref and just quoted my name she replied "oh yes, this is one of the urgent ones I am looking at daily" Top marks to them for that.
They have contacted the TP sol who confirms receipt of payment. Next step is for them to confirm with the court CCJ is satisfied, then get a certificate confirming and arrange for it removal completely.
Although initially pi ssed off with them for letting it get to this, I have to give credit to the girl looking after the file now, who seems to be top drawer.0 -

That sounds good news, the key to solving these types of problems is finding one person who takes "ownrship" of the problem and they will then normally get it sorted out as they feel guilty or simply want to get the case off their desk.0 -
YEs Dacouch, thats exactly whats happened here. From your advice with how to deal with it I asked politely if she undertood the consequences of the CCJ on my partners file and would she like one on hers. This got her on side and like you say, she has took ownership. Making all the right noises so far so Ill let you know hen finally resolved0

It works well as it's virtually impossibl for them to not agree with you (If they don't agree then they are not the sort of person who will bother helping so just thank them for their time and redial and speak to someone else). People think they will achieve results by shouting or being insulting, in reality this makes the other person defensive and normally makes it harder to get things sorted. Being polite, knowing your facts and getting the other person on your side will get results more frequently than shouting0

Just thought I would come back and update everyone as to whats happened. I have today received a certificate of satisfaction from the court (via my insurer) for the CCJ and also confirmation that as the judgement was paid within 30 days it will now be removed completely from my OH's credit file.
Thanks for all the help with this0
