When I apply for new jobs, I'm going to find out if they're on a bus route or have a car-share scheme in place. And if they don't, I'll start one. Even better, they'll be within walking distance.0

Thanks... this will be really useful0

I'm going to start walking places instead of being lazy and getting lifts for a 5 minutes walk or taking the bus. Especially as it gets warmer!0

lots of 'disposable' things must have another use & I'm gonna find it!0

I'm going to grow my own veg too!
I love this forum and thank everybody who contributes to it!0 -
Im going to set up my own environmental business within my final year at uni!0

Last year I got an allotment, after about three years on the waiting list. I grew potatoes, strawberries, carrots, beetroot (masses of the stuff - beetroot curry is a wonderful thing), turnips and some salad leaves... then damaged both legs in an accident, which put everything on hold.
This year, I'm fit again and will be down there and digging just as soon as it stops raining
I'm also adopting (fingers crossed) and will be doing my best to keep my kids off the hedonic treadmill!0 -
I'm going to replace my ancient boiler0
-
I'm going to swap the car for the bike once a week which will save 12miles car travel and I'll get fit in the process :-):beer:0

1 - bin my totally ancient and decrepit boiler (and possibly get rid of at least one hot water tank at the same time) with the boiler scrappage scheme.
2 - try and be more successful at growing my own veg - two inch diameter pumpkins aren't what I consider a success!
3 - continue to recycle wrapping paper and use nice greetings cards as pressie labels0
