    The fact that one tariff is cheaper for you than another has nothing to do with the daily standing charge vs two tier charge.

    How long have you had Energy Smart? They give you a retention bonus for sticking with it 12 months (£20 or £40).

    I have had it for just over a month, according to the energy checker they said I could save around £400.
