lastminute.com

I've been looking at lastminute.com and can't work out when the optimum time is to book. Does anyone know how many weeks before your holiday date you should attempt to book to get the cheapest prices? I'm looking at hotel only deals from 4th May for 4 days.

lasminute are merely a travel agent like anyone else - and generally a pretty pricey one at that. There are no hard and fast rules about when to book with them, and I don't think they even offer true last minute offers any more.

Check out your location and dates here: www.hotelscomparison.com

You're likely to find the hotels you want are already being offered cheaper by other agents.
  • Thanks for that. I would never have known about this website otherwise! Many thanks:rotfl:
  • Yes thats right. Lastminute.com is just an agent and contrary to their name sells hotel rooms for any dates you want like all the other travel websites. Another good comparison site is hotels-fairy.com as it features all of the top travel websites prices and allows you to compare them side by side.
