Second that the Maclaren XT is a great buggy, bought mine in 2005 and lasted until DS didn't need it, and then DD who is 2 1/2 is still using it, certainly had my money's worth out of it, and it has been on many flights, never had any faults and is great as it has a excellent recline for when little legs get tired !0 -

Loved it too, Have a search for "Nursery Value" on google, they do reconditioned ones cheap and great service too x
This is a good site, thanks, never seen it before. Are there any more that do reconditioned, as this one only does the petit star stuff.0 -

I have a Maclaren Triumph and it is rubbish. Maclaren pushchairs used to be really good but this is poor. The brakes are difficult to get on, the wheels just swivel all the time like a naff supermarket trolley and to set them on fixed you have to bend down and look real close as if you try and flick it with your foot it doesnt have it. On the uneven path up to school it steers all over the place. The folding mechanism is also temperamental. I have read reviews from other people who have found the same with this model. I have also just sold a Maclaren Rally Twin and this was more solidly built, the brakes were better and it folds easier, but the two handles are so far apart that if you push it for more than a couple of minutes you get shoulder strain. I think Maclaren have lost their way to be honest. The original baby buggy was a terrific design and I had one for my first born, but some of the newer ones are rubbish.0 -

Would still recommend the XT or XLR.0 -
I have a Quinny Buzz. Very comfortable for the child, pain in the arshwitts for the parent.
I couldn't agree more. My son is always SO comfy in it (esp when he was smaller and the cost toes fit) and never objects to getting in it like he does with the stroller. But it is bulky, hard to push and if you get a 3 wheeler it can be unstable, so we ended up forking out for the double front wheel to convert to a 4.
I disagree however that a child would grow out of it quickly. My son is 2 and 3 months and is above average size for his age (98th percentile according to HV) and he still sits in the second stage seat comfortably, although his legs hang a tad below the foot rest.0
