    Why is it a pain.

It is the easiest pushchair ever.

My mum has severe arthritis and she manages to push it with 1 finger its that easy.

Because collapsing it results in separate 4 pieces, including 2 wheels which must be removed. This causes unnecessary bulk, time and inconvenience.

Flying with it is quite impossible, unless you buy the travel bag, which is US$170 and only available in North America.

There is also the strap issue, however, in fairness to Dorel they are sending out replacements FOC.

In hindsight, we would have bought something else. The saving grace of the Quinny Buzz, however, is how comfortable it is for the child. Our son loves it - falls straight to sleep as soon as he's in it.

Then you need a bigger car, we have never had to break ours into 4 pieces to colapse it, 3 yes, in my mums car as it is small but never 4.

We have taken our quinny buzz abroad with no problems, we will be taking it again in may.

Yes dorel did have strap issues last year bet they are all resovled now and if you have an older pushchair and need the extension straps just go into mothercare and they will order you them for FREE. Thats what i did with my older model. Until i bought a new one and it has the XL seat and the straps already on it.

I have had 3 quinny buzz's now and would never ever use another pushchair.

Yes it it comfy and for me being almost 6 foot tall the extendable handle is a godsend.

So leave a wheel on then?

Without the travel bag? How, if you don't mind my asking? Or do you collapse it at the gate and tie the frame and the bed (?) part together with something? I assume you leave the wheels on.

I should have tried it in the shop, indeed we did and our son loved it. What we weren't envisaging, quite wrongly, were the inconveniences that were to come, through daily use and travelling.

The pram is also wider than some, which is worth bearing in mind if you ever visit countries that have, shall we say, lesser consideration for the manoeuvring of prams or wheelchairs than in the UK.
  • They have the Quinny Zapp on there for £73.40, thats a great deal!
But its such a shame for me, I have chosen to get the Petite Star Zia, because it has a reclining seat.
