Must have been my mistake then, I put in an order for 3 bags of spices and it automatically came up with £4.95. That is 2nd class postLoved our trip to the West Coast USA. Death Valley is the place to go!0 -
I tend to run out of cumin like others here, and cinnamon, which I use a lot in baking as well as other dishes. I've been buying bags of cinnamon for years, and started buying cumin as wellJust out of interest, what one herb and one spice does everyone use the most?
I find that I get through a lot of cumin and thyme.

That's odd - it says in the T&C they ship by next day courier, but if your order is under a certain weight, you can ask for post instead. If they're actually charging £4.95 for second class post, that is indeed taking the p-155.
I should add, I just found this company on a google seach a while back. I've not actually used them because, as I said, we've got a good asian supermarket in the area."There may be a legal obligation to obey, but there will be no moral obligation to obey. I suggest buying the growing herbs and plant them in window basket or similar and for dried herbs find a good ethnic shop that sells the big bags of dried herbs or you may have a good ethnic stall at your local market i know we have sells everything and real bargains next to the supermarket about 40p each for the really big bags of dried herbs. good luck0

I get my herbs and spices mostly from a local asian supermarkets but recently they didn't have some herbs which I needed so I went to the supermarket.
I was surprised when comparing price per gram that to buy the jar rather than the refill packet worked out cheaper!0
