Lucky here, we have a great local whole food store that sells them in GIANT bags.
But I grow loads of herbs except mint, which sadly will NOT grow well here, has everywhere else but not here.
I use masses of thyme can't grow enough of it in my small garden  so I do buy loads of it. If I can I buy it when in France (there had to be an advantage to living in the SE :rotfl:) you can pick it up really cheap in the right places.
I have a great rosemary bush and have learned to love that recently.
Put the kettle on.

Just out of interest, what one herb and one spice does everyone use the most?
I find that I get through a lot of cumin and thyme.
I'm with you on the cumin - I can find room for a generous sprinkling of cumin seeds in most recipes.
My most used herb is probably oregano. I'd love to grow my own but my green fingers seem to desert me where herbs are concerned - the only one I've managed to keep alive for more than a few weeks is my rosemary bush, and I only got that because bees like it - I'm not particularly keen on the flavour for myself.bitemebankers wrote: »No problem these days: http://www.natco-online.com/
They're they same brand my local Asian supermarket sells - fresher than the supermarket and a fraction of the price...literally.
I rather wish you hadn't posted that link. I've been keeping well away from my local Asian food shop as I've already got so many spices they fall out of the cupboard whenever I open the door - if the spices will come to me then I've got no hope!

£4.95 for next-day courier isn't expensive. According to their T&Cs, they'll optionally ship by normal post if your order is small and not urgent."There may be a legal obligation to obey, but there will be no moral obligation to obey.
