lumpsum and taxcredits

I have chance of taking pension early ,but continuing working -i would receive a lumpsum of around £20,000 in my wages on the last pay day of this tax year 2009-10- would i need to tell tax credit office ,and will it effect my claim- PS-i would also receive a monthly pension of arouhd £200 after tax-thanks

    if it will spear on your p60 as you getting paid it then I would imagine you would have to tell tax credits when giving your final figure

    Sure i read on here that pension lumpsums dont count towards income ,only any interest over £300 it might earn-can anybody confirm or deny this-cheers
