I once asked the assistant in there if they stocked spikes for my sons running shoes ......blank look.... spikes that you screw into running shoes .....blank look...... athletes use them on running tracks ...blank look....
Chavs'R'Us
Surely in this situation common sense would prevail and one would figure the store didn't stock that product? Or does that require a high level of thought?
Edit: Shame they don't have this offer in "Prejudice'R'Us", you know that great shop where they stock products based only on how they look

Oh, I thought that when it said Sport.....
However, I am intelligent enough to realise PC World sell computers and that I can't buy a chicken biryani in Currys.
My apologies, Chavinski.0 -

At £1.29 for a shirt and tie.............you can't go wrong.
I agree with you Nile. A friend got two of these shirts yesterday and he is very happy with his purchase. The shirts don't look tacky at all and you can always keep the ties to use when appropriate. Nice shirts, I am off to get four for OH if I am lucky.0 -
Is Sports Soccer the same shop as Sports World? I looked up http://www.sports-soccer.co.uk/ and it took me to Sports World.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

Sports (and I use that word loosely) World at Teesside Park, Thornaby, have 8 shirts left in sizes 16 and 17.
If you want them they are on the right below the stairs on the shelf next to the England towels and are in blue boxes with the England flag on the front.
Unfortunately they don't have FB sizes or anything smaller than 16" collar.0 -
Managed to get a few in Basingstoke, but they were well hidden. On the very top shelf of a display just behind the area between the two doors. I had to use one of the boxes on a lower shelf to knock them off, then catch them in my other hand. Almost had to resort to lifting my son up onto my shoulders to reach them. Lucky that I did not have to as he is getting a bit heavy for that now![size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

I got a superb deal.
Box says Size 17 1/2"
Plastic cover says 17 1/2"
Get shirt home and label says 16"

I'm truly amazed you lowered yourself to darken their door. I bet they look forward to you returning to ask them if they stock spare parts for other minority sporting equipment  . BTW, tell your son to live up to your expectations or he may just end up working there himself.
I suggest you may be more at home at Snobs World for all your prerequisites. :rolleyes:I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0
