Mens white shirt only £1.29

Just spotted a shirt and tie in an 'England' box at Sports Soccer. The poly/cotton shirt (suitable for work) is plain white with short sleeves. The navy tie has the England flag/shield on it.

At £1.29 for a shirt and tie.............you can't go wrong.

Hmmm...not so sure. Old folks will point & young children will laugh safe in the knowledge that they know you've bought something new in the 'reduced section', cos yet England didn't make it to a world cup final.

Ahhh but if you wore the shirt without the England tie, it's just a plain white shirt.........so why would anyone laugh?;)

It will depend on which branch you go to I suppose. I'm from East Yorkshire and my nearest branch has large sizes........from 16" neck size and upwards. I think this boxed set shirt and tie was previously priced at £13.

Yes Coldfinger (with the same avatar as nelly;) ), I quite agree with your comments about Sports Soccer. However, the shirt doesn't look cheap and nasty............and I thought I'd share it with fellow moneysavers who like a bargain.;)

OK, off to Teesside Park for a shuftie tomorrow then.
  • But the shirts have England written on them.

On the label - made in England - then again it's probably China.

Your shirt must be different to the one I bought today then.;) The shirt I have has a navy label inside the shirt (not visible when it's being worn) which states 'ENGLAND' and the size. It doesn't say 'made in England'...............and I would expect that it was made in either China or India.

Sorry to ramble on divadee, I just want to respond to the questions.:o

you expected them to know something about their products? You'll be lucky if they can count to 3.
