I have just closed my MBNA platinum last weekend cos of the new high APR.
I want to apply for virgin card for 0% on BT , do a large purchase on one of my cards and xfer the balance to virgin card.
Being that MBNA issue virgin cards what are my chances of being accepted by Virgin.??

50/50. No problem in theory having multiple cards from MBNA, max I know of is 5 cards.

I thought virgin is underwritten by MBNA, however i do not have balance on MBNA to move anyway, just closed it cos its of no use anymore except for shopping.
I promised myself not to have more than 3 C.C at anytime, just got 2 at the moment and wants to do a big purchase and then do a BT to virgin.Though the vision may not be the true future of man but it can't be completely beyond his control.0 -

Not directly, but you can transfer money from one MBNA card to your current account and then pay another MBNA card off from there. I said move your credit limit across, not your balance
