Virgin cc balance transfer

I have just closed my MBNA platinum last weekend cos of the new high APR.
I want to apply for virgin card for 0% on BT , do a large purchase on one of my cards and xfer the balance to virgin card.
Being that MBNA issue virgin cards what are my chances of being accepted by Virgin.??

50/50. No problem in theory having multiple cards from MBNA, max I know of is 5 cards.

Pity you closed the MBNA Platinum though, you could have moved your credit limit across from it to the Virgin card if your application is successful.

IS it possible to move balance from MBNA to Virgin??
I thought virgin is underwritten by MBNA, however i do not have balance on MBNA to move anyway, just closed it cos its of no use anymore except for shopping.
I promised myself not to have more than 3 C.C at anytime, just got 2 at the moment and wants to do a big purchase and then do a BT to virgin.

Not directly, but you can transfer money from one MBNA card to your current account and then pay another MBNA card off from there. I said move your credit limit across, not your balance ;)
