    saucysecrets : update website/started design for Mothers Day and Easter lines/show us photos of things made/lust after another man
    munchki : redo 20 business listings/update website/investigate ebay as an option/smile every hour
    dillidalli : complete website/take portfolio shots/update blog

    I will resist the urge to reply to silly posts on here by silly people who clearly have silly lives :rotfl::rotfl:

    I've spent the day looking at Fashion & Textile courses (because i can't do decent fashion drawings or patterns, i just try things and hope for the best :o:rotfl:), not so productive since there's no decent ones near me and i'm not sure if it's really something I'd want to do by distance learning BUT i will get there :)

    Got to leave for work in about 5 mins and i'm not even dressed, well i am dressed, just not appropriately for work.

    P.S, Don't post too much tonight guys pls, my head will hurt catching up tomorrow after about 3 hours [STRIKE]sleep[/STRIKE] nap!!

    If you haven't seen it yet, this site is amazing

    http://http://www.burdastyle.com/

    -it has loads of video tutorials, and free patterns, and people post up photos and instructions for stuff they've made - it's great for ideas and they're all very friendly :T

    Well I for one am already used to looking at Ebay/Amazon/BB and thinking yay, more pennies - and for the last two days there has been nothing *sob* - got one person each watching two of my six items on Ebay, no bids, and nobody on Freecycle's got a buggy spare so we're going to have to let my grandma buy us one :o can't believe because I've not sold anything for two days I feel anxious! Need to be on Dooyoo more I think, makes me feel productive. We're off to a jumble sale this afternoon (with baba in a back carrier) so wish me luck as I'm hoping to find lots of saleable stuff and not just come home with a load of toys for the kids! :rotfl:
    I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick @ss.... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

    Right Saucy - which hand have you glued, and are you free yet?

    How is it going?

    What have you made?

    Have you cried yet?

    Remember you promised us some pictures.....

    PS Would love to come to see Jezza but I have to sign on at 11am and collect Mariah-Sinitta from pre school at 12pm

    Can I commit to;
    -designing and making two erm, things (I need to get stuff for this today and so haven't got it quite clear in my head);
    -listing all the rest of the stuff in my 'to be listed' Ebay bag;
    -writing one article for helium;
    doing at least two reviews on Dooyoo.

    Thank you :)

    Morning all,

    A commitment board is a great idea.

    By Sunday evening I will have created a Psycho Wall, using cheap red lipstick for emphasis, and finalised my tree and branches plan, highlighting the missing links.

    Off to pick up a local Mothercare highchair that I picked up for 0.99p. Don't know what the neighbours must think, there's been some curtain twitching, as i've unloaded all the baby equipment from the car.
    I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

    Does anyone know how you find out about bootsales in your area? Is it local papers/advertising, or is there a dedicated site somewhere? Have googled but not really found anything yet :)
