Morning all, think I missed a good conversation last night, not to bring up a sore subject again, but the lady in the mag must have a sister living next door to me!
She has 9, yes 9 kids and is never short on money, she started popping them out at 16 so has never had a job, ever, in the summer she brough the biggest climbing frame set I have ever seen for her kids, must have cost hundreds and has a state of the art stereo system that she shows off from thurs-sun nights by making my house vibrate with her never ending house parties. Wouldn't be so bad if they didn't go on until after midnight when she has a 5,7,9 and 13yr old in there that has to be up for school the next morning, not to mention the agrueeing that often end up with police intervention.
Poor kids, no hope for them, 5 year old regularly shouts things like "you don't give a s**t about me" "stop f**king ignoring me" and my favourite "you are just a stupid f**king !!!!! mum".
Anyway, moving soon, people like them should be confined to the council estate, not a snob, but my 2 year old started copying what she heard when playing in the garden, banned that one now though, ever since there staffie jumped through the fence, as in put a hole in the middle, and tried jumping in the kitchen window foaming at the mouth growling.
Question, I sold my tumble dryer yesterday, getting chest freezer and needed the room, lady drove 50 miles to collect and she emailed me this morning saying its not working, what am I to do? It was working fine when I unplugged it and I don't drive so cant go and get it, told her how to reset the thermostat as thats all I know how to do, but what if she says it doesn't work after that? Pretty sure she is not going to want to do another 100 mile round trip, help?
Edit: sorry ranting again, knew I should have kept quiet, the neighbours is a sore subject at the moment!turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -

Move that !!!! Yukki!! says me...eating toast and drinking tea ;-)
Have got a headache and have been awake have the piggin night trying to think of a way to shift those damn car sets...going to be a free gift with every ebay purchase at this rate?!! . Think the trouble is with them is that they are nice little stocking fillers/cheap pressies but the postage outweighs the cost. If I do free postage tho I will lose money. Thats why I tried to sell them in 3's with cheaper postage but still no luck. am really sick of the sight of them now-its like they are mocking me!!0 -
MM have you a personal twitter account? If so twitter about them. Give one away as a prize or something, but get people looking at them.
I have been having a think and am going to give a Folksy shop a go. I have a twitter account for my jewellery, and will set up a shop and use the stock I am planning for my website, to see if I can sell it without paying for hosting at the mo.0 -
MM - I know it means keeping hold of them for a while longer, but maybe waiting for carboot weather is the best bet? Would avoid potage issues and would prob go quickly. I know my mum used to take us to a car boot and give us each a pound to buy what we wanted.turn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0

I've only got a business Twitter account-and I dont really understand that lol :-) Think I might try selling in 12's again on Ebay as they come in a display box of 12's and push them as car boot /market stock.
Good idea about the folksy shop-might be a good way of getting things moving-good luck :-)
I'm going a bit mad adding banners to my blog! cant work out how to put in paragraphs though so everythings bunched up! Have tried just pressing enter to the next line but that dont work! How the **** do you get paragraphs on Wordpress??!!0 -

Hi-yeah I'm sure they will go at car boots but I'm too impatient lol! and I keep falling over them...you might have guessed by now that i am a bit accident prone!0 -
lol, know that feeling, have a binbag full of toys I cleared out before xmas, only fit for a car boot and between tripping up it and DD constantly emptying it, seriously thinking of giving them away rather than waiting!
Speaking of DD, we are now off to the library for a kids craft morning, start the young! best bit, its not me cleaning up after her for a few hours! Good luck with todays tasks everyone xturn £100 into £10000 in 2010 member #16 £567.68/£10,000 -I'm a wiggly worm, I'm a wiggly worm, how do you do, I love you, I'm wiggly worm!0 -
