  • Distinguish the thread! I like the new title. Good morning, everyone :)
Feeling rubbish today, and still no orders arrived, just another snotty message from paypal woman. Will block her when this is over, I just wish I hadn't ordered from her.

OH is at uni, then we have to go post a letter (huge walk which I really don't feel up too) then I'll be looking at new things. I'll do surveys and clicks too, if someone doesn't mind adding me? Looked at Matched Betting but I think I'll keep that for June and the World Cup, there will be excellent offers around then and the ones at the moment are a bit rubbish. Placed on with betfair yesterday on a "Win or your money back" promotion and they haven't given the money back!

I'm happy for the thread to remain £100 to £10k as that is what we are all doing. We all partook in the initial thread to do just that and that's what we're aiming for :) I Don't look at it as we are competing with "No Chat thread" as well... that one has just died...? and everyone is back on here anyway..? ( I could be wrong ofc) ;) I can guarantee that as MMTWGR and Joeygrey update their posts everyone from that thread and anywhere else will be checking them anyway ;) SO in fact we are still The Official Thread!! ;):):)

I like the trash to cash title its a catchy one BUT its not indicative of what everyone is doing. Not everyone is selling on ebay, some are working extra jobs, taking on new directions, marketing, crafting etc.

Just my two pence worth ;)

I say go with the new title - it means we are distinguished from Bingo (for whom we are grateful that he posted originally!) ....we all have the same aim just different approaches. I love Trash to Cash!!! Mind you I wasn't putting in £100 to start anyway so it suits me more!!!

    Afternoon all.

I have been having a think. Can't remember who asked, possibly Skint Bint but I live in Monifeith but am from dundee, hopefully moving into dundee again when I can find a house i like in an area I want. The shop I supply is appointment only :( No room for gushing there. I had a theory about 4am this morning. Take decent pictures of a range of tiaras/necklaces/earings used a photo editing program to have prices added to the picture then use something like photobox to print out some picture books/albums and get some places to display them along with more business cards.

Also been thinking about adult type industries like txt operators and the like. Seems doable

I should point out that my reasons for doing this are mainly because I/we have debt that needs paid off. I hope to move house this year and we really really need more money than we currently have.

Anyone have a sewing machine?? do you realise how expensive it is to get duvet cover sets for junior/cot beds. Money to be made there I would say espeially if offering curtains and cushion covers too.

  • I think the ´new´title covers everything, if you interpret it as making something out of nothing (or very little), which is what we´re all doing.

Nixi - do those tax returns or I´ll crack the whip!
  • Lilac - There is a few offers on quidco at the moment, for photobooks, just pay postage kinda things. I'm not sure if vistaprint offer them, but if they do, add it to your basket and wait a few days, they'll email you with money off. I think it's a fantastic idea, I bought my prom jewellery out of a book, it was all glossy and professional looking and much better looking then the ones in the shops. It felt posh waiting for it to come, too, lol.

The problem with the current title is that it looks like we are stealing it from Bingo, when he has clearly stated he doesn't want to be part of our 'dribble'. A new title would give us our own identity, and as they are our own ideas, I think that's worth it. I appreciate what Bingo did, but clearly we kept the thread alive.

I've been thinking about Paddy Power bingo - chiefly because you can pay by Paypal - not keen on linking credit/debit card with a bingo site.
Anyone got any advice about PP?

Plus - what about Match betting? I keep trying to read it up - looked at a website - phew! Loads of stuff - didn't know what to read or where to click first!

I've really got to do something other than ebay though, or I won't make £1000 by December - let alone £10000!

I've been playing paddy power for 2 weeks, haven't won anything at all yet. They give you 20p a day if you don't win, but the tickets for decent jackpots are more then that, and there is typically hundreds of people playing. It's all about luck, though, so you might do better then me!

Matched betting - Football wise, it's an unpredictable bit of the season, and the offers are a bit rubbish. You can only get a joining offer for each company once, and sometimes once per household, so be careful which you choose. There will be better offers as the world cup gets closer, I think.

Have you tried Dooyoo? I'm getting on quite well with that, made £50 in Jan but then took the last ten days or so off. Have you thought of things you could make to sell on Ebay? Can you sew?
