Reclaiming child tax credit - help please?

Just wondering if anyone can help?

Last year I was able to claim back £628 child tax credit, I think from the year 2002/2003. Does anybody know if I am able to claim this back for the following year, as I know my tax code ended in the same letter (H i think?) the following year which I think qualified me to make the claim? I seem to remember the form had to be submitted by the end of January, and wonderd if it would be.

Quickly scanning the above thread tax code ending in H means it's been paid already, and was the closing date not Jan 2009?

2003/04 was the start of the new tax credits system so I wouldn't see it as possible since there is a 3 month backdating rule for the current system.
