Homer Simpson does occasionally mock Millhouse's dad for renting. Once telling Millhouse his dad is "No-house".

When I was at school, my parents hadn't joined the modern times and didn't have a VCR (yep that was the 'new' technology when I started high school).

Probably because they cost a fortune at the time

I hope prices crash so I can buy a house. Sick of the stigma of living in rented with 2 kids. Their friends constantly mock them cause we rent. Antbody else suffering like this?
    don't think that's likley somehow.
the best you can hope for is that the rate of increase might slow a bit in the short term due to tax increases and the end of mickey mouse money printing

I'm surprised anyone's still replying to this nonsense. It's obviously brodders up to his usual tricks.

I understand your frustration thought don't have kids. Don't try and keep up with the Jones's - they may own their home, someday, like in 25 years time!

Meantime you, albeit in rented, owe nothing / less than them and that's to be celebrated:beer::T

So things, for you aren't as bad as they seem:j
