  • http://www.clippesby.com/touringandcamping.asp is very popular in Norfolk. Not a camper myself but have stayed in caravans at www.kellingheath.co.uk which is fantastic and also www.searles.co.uk

for the Nofolk holiday try Searles In Hunstanton

OR have a look on this site

    http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/

free to join use the camp site search, HERE and have a browse. You can also use the advanced search where you tick boxes for things like swimming pools etc plus an area so narrows down the searching. or try the map search, choose an area and see all site in that area.

For example for this HERE is the map page for East Anglia region campsite covering Norfolk, Suffolk, Lincs & Cambs
To refine the search click on the little 'm' next to the region you require and it will show ALL campsite in that area.
Or click on advanced search refine your search then chose the region from the drop down link.

Should also add on ukcampsite there are reviews which are left by campers like myself who have actually visited the sites they review.
Searles Hunstanton is the only park we've revisited, we've been twice and we're going back May half term, my reviews are on there if you want to read them

I would also recommend Searles in Hunstanton, I have never camped there as we live nearby, but they are well known family and really care, its also located close to the beach, tescos and has its own train into town, plus a pool and on site entertainment. or there is a caravan and camping site in Sandringham.
However if you wanted to be more towards Great Yarmouth area, then try havens wild duck park, its a nice site, well located for coast and broads.
Always on the hunt for a bargain
  • I also recommend Kelling Heath but have only stayed in caravans not camped.

www.forestholidays.co.uk have some lovely sites in the New Forest.
  • i've been to a few in North Norfolk -

    east runton
    http://www.woodhill-park.com/ -
by edge of the coast with great views out to the sea, tho' v windy to pitch. there's a little pub down the coastal path 5mins walk away and a little spar shop

    burnham deepdale

this one i've been a few times. has a wet room separately for ladies and gentlen, which includes power (really!) shower and toilet and baby's changing area. hot taps for kitchen area and a shop !!! internet facility - reception. this is owned by the farm and has an independant award-winning hostel on-site, teepee tent for those who wants a bit of nouveau riche camping and a local-produce sourced cafe with free newspapers and nice jazzy music. also there's a minimarket (i think it's a spar as well).

the latter is v popular both hostel and campsite. so you'd have to book in advance. this area is well served for local activities for the whole family. there's a coastal bus going as far as cromer... (maybe further, but i only went that far westwards for a day trip). the rest of the area is great for coastal walking, birdwatching. it's v flat so it'll suit anyone of all abilities. there's lot of fancy homeware shops, cafes, gastropubs along the way... went to almost the whole of north norfolk during the week i was there walking as as far as hunstanton to stiffkey (don't have a car). holkham beach is v unspoilt and is just sublime. no litter no louts and razor clams to dig out!!

hope you enjoy where you decide..:j
