heating a conservatory - elec heaters vs oil filled?

Hi
Can anyone tell me what is more effective for heating a conservatory? Its about 3m x 6m and currently has two electric convection heaters, but we are wondering if oil filled (or non oil filled) radiators are a better, more cost effective option? The heating is only used at a low level in winter to keep the chill off the room.
extending the central heating into the room is not an option.
thanks:)

All electric heaters are the same - they give out as much heat as the ratings stamped on them. So a 2kwh convector will use as much electricity as a 2kwh oil filled and give out as much heat.
Oil filled radiators take longer to heat, but hold it longer. Convector gives heat as soon as it is turned on, but cools as soon as it is turned off.0 -
The most effective and cheapest to run is an air-to-air heat pump. There's a wide range of prices - ours was £305 delivered and fitted. It uses 1.2kW of electricity and produces 3.8kW of heat. It can also be used as a cooler in summer but that's not why we bought it.I am the Cat who walks alone0

Did the Make an Offer thing and paid £237 for it, then another £33 delivery, plus £75 for the builder to fit it.
They sold 54 at that price. It came direct from Vyair
That offer's gone now but the same company is doing this - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260410752933&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fhome-garden.shop.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fi.html%3F_nkw%3D260410752933%26_sacat%3D20711%26_trksid%3Dp3286.m270.l1313%26_dmpt%3DUK_Home_Garden_Hearing_Cooling_Air%26_odkw%3D%26_osacat%3D20711%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1 - it would be under £400 as a DIY job. I only used a builder because I don't do DIY.I am the Cat who walks alone0 -
what is the difference between those ebay ones and the ones you can get from b and q?
Like this one:
b&q0 -
£ 50.
But you have to ask yourself why it is that Bargain and Quick are flogging off £ 800 units for £ 200.
