hi
its a friends birthday this weekend and were off to liverpool to celebrate. the thing is none of us have been before. On the fri were looking for a nice (not too expensive) meal out - any type considered followed by a few dinks.
On the sat we wanna pick up the pace and hit the pubs and clubs - looking for house/dance music gay friendly.
Any ideas any one?
cheers

Personally I like the Tapas restaurant near the bus station. You can all order different things and share. Not sure about pubs and clubs as when I went I had my six month old dd with me.0

I can second the vote for the tapas restaurant. It's called La Vina, on north John street. About 2 mins walk from most of the gay bars/clubs too. Personally, I like the G Bar, two levels so a choice of music. Most of the gay friendly places are in that area.Sigless0

Yeah! you cant go far wrong with the G bar whether your'e gay or straight it is a fab night:T :T downstairs would be more 'gay' friendlier..
And you've got the famous 'Garlands' nearby, what more could you ask:D
Wherever you go you will have a 'TOP' night. :j
Have fun!God created man

Hello kimith84
I'll move your thread over to the 'Travel, Trips & Holidays' board. If you do a search there, you'll find other threads about Liverpool with useful information.;)
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.

Yeah, there's two. La Tasca is in queens square, both have bus stations near by (well, did, they moved one recently). La Vina is closer to the clubs though.Sigless0 -
If your're going to Liverpool you must take a job with you - because there aren't any there.
Try to mingle in with the locals too - I find a shell-suit and AK45 does the job.
Nightlife usually involves competitive street vomiting and choruses of " Aye,Roberto - pass the Pringles ! "
You will have fun though ...0 -
If you haven't been before have a drink in the Philharmonic, one of my favourite pubs. Excellent beer but even if you're not a beer drinker its worth it just to see the place.0

"the kebab house" on the opposite side of the road to the phil and a bit down the hill is a great greek restaurant and reasonably priced
