Realplayer download manager problem

Just bought new laptop from Dell so Win7 Home and IE 8 on it. Downloaded and installed Realplayer SP Gold as I use it to download videos from viptv - However when i use the right click option in the basic realplayer window to "Download this video to realplayer" then the download manager doesn't appear -
However if i change the view to theatre mode or normal the download BUTTON appears but then the download manager names all the download index (1, 2 3 etc) whereas with the way that won't work at the moment it gives them the proper title.
Tried opening the download manager first - doesn't work
Checked the add ons were enabled in tools in IE8 - still nothing
Reinstalled - nothing
Checked for updates and installed - nothing
For some reason works on Win7 Professional on bros computer - but not on similar laptop with Win 7 Home
Yes I have looked for the solution online but can't figure it out.
Help anyone please???

My wife has a Dell and it's not bad at all.. I just rebuilt it using the supplied disk and it doesn't install all the Dell junk, just a nice clean Win 7 install
Unfortunately I can't help with Real Player, been many years since I used that sorry piece of software!
EDIT: probably not much help, but the site does specify that you need Firefox -You need make sure that the computer you are using to access to VIPTV.NET has Firefox browser and RealPlayer installed.0 -
