doing cross stitch for abit while jayden naps .. forgot how much i enjoy it x

I have a cross stich on the go for V, but only about half finished.
It shows how little time I have on my hands. I did my first while I was pregnant with J and had it finished and ready for his name and date of birth well before he arrived.
L's was finished when she was a few weeks old. V's will probably be finished for her 21st birthday. :o And hers is the smallest and least complicated.

Tia thats a gorgeous dress, where's it from? Gorgeous girl modelling it too of course!

    Lanky Amber :rotfl:

She's gorgeous Tia. We don't see enough pictures of her.

Will that dress perhaps end up on ebay? Molly's still in 3-6 for height, although from the charts she's on the 85th percentile for height.

Awww, tia that dress is so adorable! I'm now jealous of all you with adorable little girls to dress in cute little dresses :o:o - I love my little boy, of course, but it's just not the same! :p:p (I'm also going to steal that meerkat, tia!)

Glam - perhaps put him down for more naps than you think and you might be surprised. Like if he usually takes 2 naps, just try 3 even if the last one is a tiny catnap right before bath/bedtime - or try extending his nap by shushing him down when he wakes up to see if he drops off again. Not that I'm trying to give advice to someone who's a baby more than 3 months before me, but it's worth a go! Don't wanna speak too soon as we're only on Day 3, but it seems to have really really helped for us.

He used to sleep a lot, so much I asked the HV if it was normal because he was goin 12hours at night plus a good 4-5 hours in naps during the day. Now it's much less at night and 2 x 90min naps. I'll see if I can get him to go down more today but I'm finding as he gets older he's sleeping less during the day
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I second the xtra knap idea. Ive been told to put bubs down for an hr-90mins in the morning the same after dinner then a 1/2hr cat knap at least an hr before bed. he does seem to have settled quite a bit in the night he has gone from waking 5-6 times to waking once for a feed. Of course all this is easier said than done when the other 2 wont keep their gobs shut and are constantly waking him up i'm so glad they are back at school next week :-)
