She did, and I agree! One with a hole is a gravy rng covered in sugar and one with jam in is a doughnut!!

Wikipedia says "some parts of Northern Ireland, ring doughnuts are referred to as "gravy rings" due to their being cooked in oil, itself colloquially known as "gravy"."

I thought they tasted good until someone (:p) mentioned gravy... now they seem _pale_
