Oh caz I bet he will love it:) Yes I have picked a pram, finally and after much deliberation...we are going for the Mountain Buggy Duo!!

I can't believe how slim all the girls were today at the meet, I felt like a whale, even though I have never had such a small bump in a pregnancy before. All the babies were soo cute and very well behaved:)

We have just had chaos in the madhouse, all is calm now and Kai is in bed asleep, Luca and Jaden are watching Looney tunes in bed and dh has gone to his mates to borrow an analogue phone?

  • Bruno- yippee for E's weight gain- you must be very thrilled and relieved.

Caz- that bed sounds amazing and I'm sure it will really cheer Charlie up.

I'm hooked on Weezl's frugal thread at the moment- so many nom, nom recipes on there.

Sugar, thanks for the note about GoogleBuzz. I never actually log in to Gmail as I've got those emails downloading to Thunderbird, so I didn't know about this. Have now turned it off. Ta :)

Andrew weighed in at 8oz heavier today - 8lb 9oz - I reckon the scales were busted last week. He's now back on his curve again.

We spent about 2hrs trying out loads of doubles and had Kai sat in all the seats (poor kid) as we wanted to make sure whatever we went with would last him till he is fully able to walk the school run and back:) I really fell in love with this one although 3 showed me her boot in the people carrier toda and there is NO CHANCE of fitting it in there at all.....

I haven't had a chance to look at Weezl's thread yet, I really must. I do like stalking her around the boards;)

tried to give K his anti-biotic medicine before and as i thought most of it got spat out.
can i put it in a little formula or water and give it through his bottle??
Having this problem too Jillie. Calpol and Nurofen go down fine, but anti-biotics being spat back. I lie Alex down, support his neck and squirt some down the back of his throat. Results in lots of gagging and choking and bad mummy moment , but most of it seems to be going down and it stops him from spitting it back out.

Edit: Oh much more sensible answer provided by elle. Will retreat to bad mummy corner by myself

I squirt in to the side of Ellis' mouth, he doesnt seem to be able to push it out with his tongue as easily, the bits the do dribble out i wipe of with my finger and he will quite happily suck it off there!

Took Ellis on his first train ride today, Jackson has been learning about Chinese New Year in nursery so we took him to China Town and to Yum Yums for tea, both are now fast asleep after their busy day!

If anyone is after an electric breast pump my local boots had Avent ones on clearance today for £35 reduced from £90, they also had manual ones for £10 and packs of avent bottles 6 for £10. they had loads on a big display so may be in other stores too.

Bruno - Happy anniversary...is this you 'real' or 'fake' wedding anniversary?

    Mel x

Oo, well-remembered :) the real one! We went to Chez Bruce for supper (same thing as last year) for a horrendously expensive but very very good meal :)

3, Fritha, Glam, Mel and I went to a sling meet this afternoon.
Mel has a cute dinky bump so is obviously having an dainty lil girlie, she's also prettier in the flesh :)

Is E on the weights graph? shame we only go up to 1yr it would be good to see how he's gone on.

Have you tried ancestry website? I've seen it advertised but not used it.

    Ahh slingmeet :)
E is on the graph yes!
And I've seen the ancestry site ads, it's another pay-to-use though so will see how much I can get out of this one first.

bruno how old is E for some reason i thought he was the same age as Charlie?

Hi Caz :) he is 18 months, a bit younger than Charlie I think?

Nicki, sounds very similar to what we went through, once he was happier and less pain, he started eating better (and throwing up less) and the rest is history! Fingers crossed for you!

Yeah they do actually. Literally cli[ off/on, but I really want to be able to just fold it and whack it in the car...I am not one for faffing about, which is why we were put of the iCandy peach (among other things)

I need to get car hunting now, once I find the type of car that is suitable I can sell ours and keep a look out for a decent price on the type we want:)
