Hi all, just signed on, tara thats fantastic news !!! I am so happy for all of you, DD must be over the moon !!
Is poppie still in the inci ?? or in an open cot now?? They kept Dylan in inci for 3 days after coming of the mask and CPAP just to be on the safe side, so tell her not to panic if they still dont want to take her out yet
Oh but that really is good news, I have a tear in my eye !!The two best things I have done with my life

DD said she doesn't even have the mask on that she had when she was born, so that's just oxygen isn't it? Sorry, was so busy blubbering I said I'd ring her later!

CPAP still looks like a lot of kit, mini mask covering or prongs up her nose with a tube up over her head, and probably a hat to keep it all on. Oxygen is just a tube running under her nose with little prongs poking in, barely noticeable
Either way, big step away from the ventilator and means she's well capable of breathing on her own :T 0 -
WELL DONE POPPIE!!!!!
Congrats SJ is a stunning!
Waiting on NHS 24 phoning me back as Charlie is really ill and im in a panic, from his stomach up his body is burning his face is bright red and i cant get him to cool down, the thing thats worrying though is that his hands and feet are ice cold and i know thats really bad, no rash at all though so think postitive. i had to put his medicine into irn bru as he is refusing it and its the only way i could think of(bad mummy lol) he is stripped and has asked to go to bed but eeekkkkWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
I've got a SC Kensington pram in navy. I love it and cried when Charlotte got too big for it. I took her out in all weathers in it and she was always snug in it.
Josh was in a cross country event when she was about 8 months old, and it was freezing temperatures and sleeting outside. She was out in the pram for about two hours and she wasn't bothered by the cold at all. She was well wrapped up in her sleeping bag and lots of layers.
Congrats Sarah Joanne - lovely pictures
They looked amazing and had just got 6 brand new ones in! They were huge and each baby has their own linen for when they go in the pram and she said they bundle them all up well.
Apparently a paediatrican had told them this was the best place for LOs to sleep - in the fresh air. No need to be bothered if he won't sleep in his cot now!
I am really happy tonight - I was so worried that I wouldn't like the creche but it was really nice. Everyone said Hi, and I loved the way they took Jack off to show him round.
Just need to see if they can order his milk in - they had the usual milks but not the comfort so hopefully they can. They have it in the glass bottles and just put it in Jack's bottles when he wants it.Off the ventilator, woohoo!!! Have stopped the morphine too. She may need to go back on if she gets tired but at least we know her lungs are fine!
Can anyone give me an update??? Sorry. Will go back a bit!
:j:j:j:j:j Woohoo Go Poppie!
This vibes do work
Jack must be feeling better - has had 29oz of milk today. Better than the average 15oz on Sunday, Monday & Tuesday! He was very tired tonight so I'm hoping he doesn't wake for a feed.
