Hi everyone:wave:
i thought it was about time i joined in the thread since i have read every single post since Ellis was born in Sept. i just wanted to say that i dont think the thread is in any way a fluffy dictatorship and i love reading the different opinions and ways of doing things everyone has. i also think that everyone is really welcoming of newbies (please prove me right and be nice to me!).
i wish i had joined in more with the thread as i live in the Northwest too and would have loved to come to some of the meets. anyway, the reason i have finally posted is because i have decided that i should either make the effort to join in more or leave the thread altogether, cos its really sad of me to sit here every night reading about the lives of total strangers (although i feel like i know you all really well!) and not joining in the conversation!0 -
PP, make the most of the quiet time!! I love early mornings when Aimee's gone to school and it's just me and Caitlyn, no TV on or anything...
I've lost 12lb in 4 weeks...

Hello [STRIKE]freaky sad weirdo!! [/STRIKE] JM!
Welcome in!0 -
Krystal- while you are here please can I ask you a BF question? Henry is pretty much sleeping through the night, typically 7-5 so when I wake up in the morning my boobs are at bursting point. He then has a good feed but usually only off one side. Will my supply settle down so I'm not so bursting in the morning? Thanks Hun x

Thanks Krystal i shouldn't have even tried again with the formula after last night and just expressed it, seeing as my biggest concern is messing my supply up. I'm almost certain she'll feed plenty for the rest of the night to make up for it though.
Jacksons mum you should definitely post more, i can't believe you can read and not post - i did it for a few days and usually something comes up where i want to stick my oar in
I do remember you posted on the preggy thread a few times though?0 -
:hello: JM .. and welcome on it .. your definately more then welcome to join on the meets

Hiya jacksons mum! So how's baby Ellis doing? Is he your first? I'll let the proper questions crew grill you later, but glad to see you taking the plunge!!
Beenie, don't get disheartened! Your milk is perfectly fine for her, she's just going through a growth spurt that will end shortly! Besides, just think of the grocery bills if you have to buy formula, hehehe. See it through a few more weeks, and like Krystal says, it'll get better as she learns to feed more effectively. Finn & Amber need to give each other lessons - she can teach him how to poop regularly and he'll teach her how to behave during the day (though right now he'd not be the best teacher as I think he ate once an hr today!) :rotfl:
I was living off Go Ahead crispy slices the first few weeks as they were perfect for those 12am/2am/4am feeds until my body settled down and figured out how to not be starving when feeding Finn. I won't hold my breath for BFing making me lose weight though :rolleyes:top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
