Hey all, I can't keep up enough to do long posts repeating what others have said so apologies if I don't send hugs/congrats in the right directions although I am thinking of you all and do care :o:o

Just wanted to reply to you Beenie, we never have our heating on during the night, ours goes off just before we go to bed and comes back on just before we get up. I was always under the impression that heating is unnecessary during the night as you should be warm enough in bed and I've always found that is the case even with LO. Don't know what others do. (I pay £45 for elec and £20 for gas per month but we live in a small flat.)

I agree - our heating has been on from 5am to 8am and 6pm to 10pm. Once in bed I get too hot for the heating. 2hrs after the heating went off J's bedroom is 18 degress - perfick!
My gas bill was £130 for the quarter and we have a 3 bedroom detatched house so no heat from neighbours :(

  • For anyone worried about the temp in baby's room it is much more economical to get a small oil filled radiator to keep the chill off in 1 room only.

Gotta be right - Weezl said so :D

Yeah I had been thinking about doing this for our bedroom as it can get quite cold - instead I have a hot water bottles and snuggles to keep me warm :money:
