jha- big hugs for you. It's lovely to see you. Anything we can help with, your would it just help to vent on here? x x

Thanks for asking - i think its just stuff i have got to work through - some stuff is the same for all new mums like lack of sleep, the challenges of being a new mum and some stuff is making it a lot more difficult like the lingering pre-eclamp and strong meds which have messed up my memory - numb arm where they messed up a line in the hosp which make it difficult to care for / hold baby and bonding issues where other people were doing the majority of caring for her for the first 10 days or so. But i cant complain she is a good weight now 7lbs 13 at 3 weeks and I continue to escape hospital:D - lol - i feel like i am a criminal trying to evade arrest:cool: :rotfl:

    (((Hugs))) to them MFD.

That balloon I posted on Fb yesterday was in memory of a lady I knew. She was 48 and died on Tuesday of cancer. Was really strange looking at stuff she'd done on Fb last week, games she's played. And then nothing, made me cry! Her poor children and hubby.
Too many children, too little time!!!

While we are talking about births, did anyone's birth plans go to plan? I've had three babies but stuff was never carried out as I'd written down and there were upsets with all three births. It made me wonder what the point of writing them was :o
Mine didn't go to the plan but only because they took no notice - not because of any emergencies or anything. Except that they were fixated with following the part about not having her delivered onto my stomach for some reason.

  • Aww, jha, it must be tough.

Congrats on managing to stay at home for now though, and 7lb13oz sounds like a very healthy weight. Do you know how long you will be taking the meds for?

Big hugs to Tara and MFD's DH.

Me likey the close up of Jack, Glam.

((hugs)) to JHA. You've definitely had a rough time of it. Are you getting enough support in RL from your OH, family, HV etc?
  • Thanks everyone. I know everybody knows somebody who has or has had cancer these days but it still rocks your world when it happens to somebody close.

Hubby is punishing himself because he thought the bloke was taking the mick asking for time off for appointments (time is money and all that). I pointed out that he has still been letting him have time off but he is still feeling bad.

Oh well, enough misery. Hope everyone is well. I have been keeping up, just not posting.

Elle and Krystal are both good, have spoken to them both by text recently, just feeling quiet too I think. Sometimes I think you just go through patches of just reading...

How come everyone is 5'3 1/2 or have I missed the joke? :rotfl:
I think it's that if you're that height then the half is very important to you.
