i have been on esa since january 2009.i have been on the basic rate of 64.30 a fortnight,i have been to a couple of interviews at pathways,i have never been asked to attend a medical.i dont want to sound greedy so i aint wanting to phone up jcp and ask if i should get more money than what am on just now,i also didnt receive the 4 cold weather payments for my area,i do receive housing and council tax benefit but nothing else, can someone give me advice on what rate i should be on and what i should be receiving in benefits as i find it hard to get by.

Are you on contributions or income based ESA?
You need to phone the ESA helpline about the medical, you could be missing between £25-30 extra per week! You went get the next rate up until you have a medical.
If you are getting HB due to your income, when you have your medical and if you get put into a different group with the extra money this may make a difference on your income for HB. Also they will backdate the money to week 14 so you ma be owed a back dated payment.
